Nocta: the collaboration between Drake and Nike
Nocta is the result of a partnership between Drake, the famous Canadian rapper, and Nike, the famous swoosh brand. The name ‘Nocta’ is a reference to the nocturnal nature of Drake, who has often spoken about his late-night work habits. It also refers to people who are active at night, such as artists, creatives and sportsmen and women.
The brand's style is centred around streetwear, but with a technical approach, combining urban fashion with athletic performance.
The range is expanding to include both clothing and sneakers, which are always on trend!
Nocta and Drake's streetwear reference
The first collection came out in December 2020 and featured down jackets, technical tracksuits and fleece jackets in plain yellow and black.
Over time, the collections have evolved, including the flagship models that have made the brand a reference: Nike Hot Step Terra Drake Nocta, Nike Air Force 1 Low Drake Nocta Certified Lover Boy, Nike Nocta Glide and more recently the Nike Hot Step 2.
With this latest collection, Drake wants to play with colors, from basic white and black to more original colors: orange, purple and yellow.
Over the years, Drake has broken down the barriers between music and fashion, opening doors for other artists who are now collaborating with brands on increasingly trendy collections (J Balvin, Bad Bunny).
Drake's Nocta collection in constant evolution
Nocta continues to grow as more than just a brand, Drake and Nocta have also collaborated on special collections, such as a range of golf-inspired clothing, adding a more elegant touch to the line. The diversity of the collections shows the brand's ambition to constantly evolve and broaden its horizons.
Nocta's latest idea was to join Venezia FC and become the football club's technical sponsor.
